Steel Fever
Welcome to Steel Fever, a horror game about being trapped in a mech.
This short horror game has controls that are a bit different.
IF YOUR MOUSE ISN'T CAPTURED, HIT TAB TWICE IN THE GAME WINDOW
Once you start the game you can rotate the character's perspective, press the RED BUTTON on the dash to power on the Mech.
The other dash buttons will come on to allow you to power the:
- External Cameras
- Headlights
- Computer
- Radio
You can tell which buttons are on by their color:
- Red means powered, but off.
- Green means powered and on.
- Yellow means you are hovering that button.
- Black means it's either unpowered or broken.
Once the external cameras are on you can begin your journey.
Use W and S to change your forward throttle, repeated presses will increase or decrease your speed.
A and D work similarly for rotation.
To stop entirely, press X.
To pause the game, press TAB.
The team strongly recommends the various radio stations we've put into the game, especially the first one.
The computer was a planned function and does work, but it only has an entry for "test" as we ran out of time to integrate the entries.
If you'd like to see the entry, use the keyboard when it lights up yellow.
All game assets (aside from the royalty free music) were made by the team in the allotted jam period.
Note: The game is a bit unoptimized and I ran out of time to fix that, my apologies.
